Actress criticized for exiting moving car challenge

The famous actress and singer stepped out of a moving Mercedes C-class, danced alongside it, and then returned to the driver's seat.

Video: Megha Kaur.

Indian actress and singer Megha Kaur frequently shares photos and videos of her daily life. However, one of her latest videos, posted on 5/12, has drawn widespread criticism.

In the video, Megha stepped out of a slowly moving Mercedes C-class and danced alongside it, while a passenger in the front seat filmed. She then returned to the driver's seat. The incident reportedly took place on a road in Mumbai.

It was apparent that the driver's seatbelt was fastened, but the actress was not wearing one. This is a common method to bypass vehicle safety systems and sensors.

The video garnered over 25,000 views within just 5 hours of being posted on Instagram. Many people took to other platforms to condemn the actress's unsafe and irresponsible behavior. On X, users tagged the official account of Mumbai police and other law enforcement agencies, calling for immediate action.

The swift public outcry prompted the actress to issue an explanation. She posted on Instagram, urging people not to imitate or replicate the video, as it could be dangerous. She further explained that she is an actress and a content creator, filming videos for her content in locations without public presence. Megha emphasized that her intention was never to violate traffic laws.
