Car spun sideways after driving too close to tanker truck

A car was hit and spun sideways after entering a tanker truck's blind spot and being pushed a distance on 8/12 in Le Hong Phong.

Video: CTV

The incident occurred when a car drove closely alongside a tanker truck for an extended period without actively creating distance. The car then gradually drifted towards the front of the tanker, was struck on its side, spun horizontally, and was pushed a considerable distance. The extent of any injuries or property damage remains unclear.

This type of collision, where a car is hit and spun sideways, often results from drivers failing to observe their surroundings, making reckless lane changes, cutting in front of large vehicles like tanker trucks, or neglecting to account for blind spots. The blind spot area around large vehicles such as tanker trucks, heavy trucks, and buses is substantial; therefore, drivers should maintain a safe distance from these vehicles whenever possible.
