Maca Dai Viet pursues a sustainable macadamia production model

Maca Dai Viet boosts production transformation and management digitalization to enhance the value of Vietnamese macadamia nuts and expand its global market presence.

Maca Dai Viet Trading Service Company Limited, a specialist in macadamia nut production and processing, aims to maximize the value of local ingredients. The company is elevating Vietnamese macadamia products and expanding its international market presence through a dual transformation in production and management.

These efforts have earned Maca Dai Viet significant recognition, including the first prize in the "Twin Transition Challenge 2025" competition, organized by GIZ and APED in October. The company also received the "Top 100 sustainable businesses of Vietnam 2025" award from VCCI and VBCSD in early December. These prestigious accolades acknowledge Maca Dai Viet's serious investment and clear sustainable development orientation.

To enhance macadamia nuts' value, Maca Dai Viet shifted its focus from raw production to refined, concentrating on high value-added products. This involves comprehensive investment across its entire supply chain: Maca Dai Viet standardizes raw material areas and supports farmers with technical assistance from the cultivation stage.

In processing, Maca Dai Viet established a set of standards for its factory and production model. All operations, from production and warehouse management to order fulfillment, are digitized using an ERP system developed internally over two years. This rigorous control extends to every product detail, from packaging to customer service, ensuring high perfection upon market release.

Maca Dai Viet consistently implements a dual transformation strategy in management and sustainable development. This includes specific actions like reducing energy consumption, optimizing resource use, and minimizing waste throughout the production process. This model enables the company to export its Vietnamese macadamia products to markets with strict quality and traceability requirements, such as South Korea, Japan, and the US.

The company also develops organic products featuring unique flavors derived from local ingredients. Furthermore, it connects over 1.000 farming households within a green, transparent, and sustainable value chain, fostering community growth and environmental responsibility.

"Maca Dai Viet understands, respects, and aims to honor the origins of Vietnamese macadamia nuts. For many years, we have achieved this through efforts to affirm quality, creativity, and the responsibility to bring the best products from Vietnam to the world", a company representative shared.
