The company announced it has completed preparations for E10 gasoline sales, including: blending infrastructure, storage, transportation, distribution systems, and plans to secure large-scale raw material supply for blending. PVOIL also issued a technical guidance manual to ensure consistent, synchronized, and proper implementation across the entire system.

Starting this morning, PVOIL filling stations underwent final technical reviews to ensure operational conditions of storage tanks, pumps, pipelines, and metering equipment, and to synchronize product information on the pump systems.
The company also focused on cleaning storage tanks, checking for leaks, and assessing equipment compatibility with E10, thereby ensuring fuel quality and safety during operations. Remaining RON 95 gasoline will be sold off before the full transition to E10 sales.

Previously, from 1/8/2025, PVOIL pilot-tested E10 in Hanoi and Hai Phong, gradually expanding to many other provinces and cities. As of 13/5, 715 PVOIL stations nationwide were selling this biofuel. Most users reported that the product met all technical requirements and performed stably in vehicles.
Alongside reviewing each station, PVOIL proactively prepared supplies from upstream depots. To meet mass market demand, management converted E5 gasoline blending infrastructure to E10, while upgrading tank systems, technological pipelines, and ethanol storage capacity.
"Currently, our total E10 blending capacity reaches nearly 4 million cubic meters annually, ready to supply the entire system and other entities (if needed)", the representative stated.
The company representative emphasized that selling E10 both aligns with the government's and Ministry of Industry's biofuel development roadmap and contributes to ensuring a stable fuel supply for the market, enhancing national energy security.
"This initiative also demonstrates Petrovietnam's commitment to green energy development, emission reduction, and working towards the country's net-zero emissions target by 2050", the representative added.
PVOIL leads the petroleum distribution sector in Vietnam with nearly 1,000 retail stations, holding approximately 23% market share. The company is at the forefront of digital transformation with applications like PVOIL Easy, PVOIL 4U, PVOIL B2B. It has also deployed over 400 electric vehicle charging stations and developed non-fuel services, aiming to become a diversified energy provider in the future.
