VPBank sponsors 40 billion VND for Bach Mai Hospital

VPBank signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Bach Mai Hospital, sponsoring 40 billion VND to enhance the quality of medical examination and treatment, support social welfare initiatives, and ultimately better serve the public.

The signing ceremony took place on 8/12. Under the agreement, the sponsorship will be used to upgrade facilities and add modern medical equipment. This aims to improve conditions for medical examinations and treatments and elevate the quality of healthcare services. The collaboration also sets the stage for the hospital to implement preferential programs for both patients and medical staff.

Speaking at the event, Associate Professor, Doctor Dao Xuan Co, Director of Bach Mai Hospital, stated that building and developing the Bach Mai International Medical Center into an international-standard healthcare facility is a strategic mission. This aligns with the Party and State's policies.

"We aim to establish a reputable medical destination, enabling domestic residents to access international-standard services while also attracting international clients. VPBank's partnership is a significant encouragement, further motivating our medical team to provide the best services for the public," Dao Xuan Co emphasized.

Nguyen Duc Vinh, CEO of VPBank, noted that the sponsorship is part of the bank's sustainable development strategy. It demonstrates a commitment to supporting the community, offering better healthcare opportunities for everyone, and building a healthy, happy Vietnam.

Bach Mai Hospital stands as one of the largest medical centers nationwide and is Vietnam's first special-grade comprehensive general hospital. With leading experts and high-tech systems, the hospital can implement many modern, regional-standard medical techniques, providing comprehensive healthcare services to the public. The hospital aims to become a reputable medical destination in the region and worldwide.

This cooperation with a leading hospital like Bach Mai highlights VPBank's efforts to enhance healthcare quality, improve social welfare, and expand its cooperation ecosystem with partners across various sectors.

Over many years, VPBank has maintained consistent social welfare activities, focusing on four pillars: livelihood, education, healthcare, and environment. Recently, the bank provided 15 billion VND to affected households in Gia Lai to build and repair homes. It also contributed 30 billion VND to Nghe An province and 10 billion VND to northern and central provinces to overcome flood damage, including providing necessities, construction materials, and livelihood support.

VPBank also launched a 1,000 billion VND interest rate support package for customers affected by storms and floods. These CSR programs are designed to meet urgent community needs, being timely, practical, and aiming for long-term impact. By the end of 2025, VPBank's total resources, along with its employees and partners, will have contributed nearly 2,000 billion VND to social activities.
