People's artist Huu Quoc expressed his admiration for the song's message, which speaks to national spirit, bravery, and the heroic aura of soldiers. During their collaboration, he was impressed by Minh Sang's dedication to the patriotic music genre, noting his serious approach to recording and performing.
According to Minh Sang, the "hich" segment is a highlight of the music video. Initially, the team considered incorporating a rap section, but he felt it lacked the desired creative impact. Therefore, "hich" (an ancient persuasive literary form used to rally people or soldiers against internal and external enemies, known for its powerful and eloquent style) was chosen to evoke strong emotions in listeners.
In the video, Minh Sang and People's Artist Huu Quoc perform alongside a choir and band. The production team also incorporated footage of military parades from the 50th anniversary of national reunification and the 80th National Day commemoration.
The singer shared that through his work with the Ho Chi Minh City Arts Center and the Artists Volunteer Team, he has performed for soldiers and cadres nationwide. During his travels, Minh Sang witnessed the youthful energy of the people's armed forces. This energy inspired him and his team to complete the music video.
"Vietnam forever moving forward" is a composition by young musician Nguyen Tran Minh Son. It honors soldiers who tirelessly safeguard the nation's peace, released on the 81st anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam People's Army. Producer Tran Vu arranged the track in a pop rock style, incorporating traditional drum sounds.
