The book, comprising 25 songs, was written by vocal instructors Ha Ny and Truc Vy. It draws inspiration from the Steiner education method, a philosophy developed by Austrian philosopher Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925). Steiner believed the core goal of education was to nurture "free human beings", fostering the harmonious development of three elements: physical (hands), emotional (heart), and intellectual (mind) through artistic experience, work, and practice.

A key concept in Rudolf Steiner's music education is "Mood of the Fifth". Unlike the familiar seven-note system, the pentatonic scale minimizes conflict between tones, creating gentle, pleasant melodies. Songs composed using this method typically revolve around a central note (commonly A), with melodic structures always gravitating towards this balance point, providing a sense of security.
The songs in the book feature simple themes that resonate with children, such as: Beautiful Smile, Morning Sunlight, Playing with Friends, Rice Plant, Pair of Hands, Raindrop, Cloud, Stream, and Evening Light. Accompanying each song, author Truc Vy shares stories and messages drawn from her childhood memories and her journey into motherhood. Her writing style is simple, focusing on love and tenderness for young children. She writes, "For parents, the most sparkling sounds in the world are their children's laughter", and "If the world is a garden, you are a colored flower, growing up surrounded by sweet love". Ha Ny created 54 watercolor illustrations and hand-wrote the text for each story, inspired by Lang Mai calligraphy. She dedicated seven months to completing the artwork and writing.

Truc Vy expressed her desire for the book to reach young children and parents with children aged one to 9 years old. She noted that while technology and digital life have led to a proliferation of music entertainment products, songs specifically for young children are becoming scarcer. Furthermore, her experience as a mother, particularly confronting postpartum depression, helped her understand the challenges parents face in expressing love to their children. Through music, a medium capable of profoundly impacting children's emotions, perceptions, and behaviors, Truc Vy hopes to convey the love of parents.
Le Nguyen Ha Ny, 39 years old, is a singer and choir conductor from Kon Tum. In 2009, she graduated with a major in vocal performance from the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. Le Nguyen Truc Vy, 35 years old, is Ha Ny's younger sister. In 2008, she graduated with honors from the intermediate keyboard program at the Military University of Culture and Arts, becoming a student in the school's talent class and studying for two years. In 2014, Truc Vy earned an excellent bachelor's degree in Western instrument performance. In 2020, she completed her master's degree in music pedagogy from the National Academy of Music of Vietnam. She possesses nearly 20 years of experience in piano instruction, performance, music research, and composing children's songs.
The sisters, Truc Vy and Ha Ny, previously released the albums "Nang Niu" and "A Thousand Loves for You", both for young children and parents. They also lead the Thanh La Choir project, which features meditative songs aimed at the community of elderly people and people with disabilities. Through these creations, they hope music will serve as a bridge connecting people, helping everyone find peace in life.
