On the morning of 5/12, after over a month of construction, the two-story house belonging to Do Van Huu in Quarter 7 Kien Bai, Thien Huong ward, was successfully moved by Hoang Dinh Bach's team, director of Minh Nam Hoang Company, to the correct plot of land Huu had purchased.
"Other structures we pull with machines. This structure had to be pulled by hand, which was more time-consuming but ensured maximum safety," Bach stated.

Bach's team of workers spent 18 days digging 3 meters deep, lifting Huu's entire two-story house, and then cutting parts of the floor, front yard, and a section of the back of the house to fit the designated plot.
After reinforcing the ground in the area and constructing a foundation on Huu's plot, the expert movers utilized winches, wood, and iron pipes to prop and pull the house, achieving a daily movement of approximately 3 meters.
The house is now correctly situated on the plot, and workers are making final adjustments before lowering the structure into place.
"Loan's plot has been leveled, restored to its original state," Huu stated.
Regarding this, Loan stated her perspective: "First, I will re-check the current state of the land to see if there are any remaining piles or foundations. If so, I will work with Huu again to remove everything or establish a handover commitment to avoid future disputes."
Huu relocated his house to comply with an effective court ruling issued in August.
According to Huu, when he bought the land, he agreed with the broker to take the second plot from the alley entrance. On 19/10/2024, he and his wife received the red book (land use rights certificate) but realized it was for the sixth plot.
All plots are 60 square meters, part of a larger parcel that was subdivided, but they differ slightly in length and width.
Huu then proceeded to build a house on lot 2. When Loan discovered the error, Huu offered to exchange land or buy it back. Loan disagreed, and the two parties could not agree on a solution.
The Kien Bai Commune People's Committee issued a notice to suspend Huu's construction. However, the two-story house continued to be completed.
Loan subsequently filed a lawsuit.

The August first-instance judgment by the People's Court Area I - Hai Phong determined that Huu's construction infringed upon another's legal land use rights and constituted illegal construction.
The court ordered Huu and his wife to dismantle the entire structure and return the land parcel to Loan. Huu appealed but later withdrew the appeal.
