Around 4 p.m. on 16/11, a violent brawl erupted at a boarding house on Thuan Giao 19 street, Thuan Giao ward, Thuan An city, Binh Duong province, leaving one man dead and another seriously injured.

Nguyen Hoai Viet Lam, 30, died at the scene, while his uncle, Nguyen Van Duoc, 39, also from An Giang province, sustained severe injuries. Residents witnessed two groups of youths, armed with various weapons, attacking each other before Lam and Duoc collapsed on the street.

According to witnesses, a group of young men arrived at the boarding house earlier, seeking out Lam and Duoc for a discussion. The initial dispute quickly escalated into a violent confrontation.

Both victims suffered numerous stab and slash wounds. The scene remained littered with bricks, stones, and machetes.

Cong an TP HCM is currently pursuing the suspects involved in the attack.
