Early this morning, strong upstream water flow overflowed into the Du Long industrial park area, causing widespread flooding, with some areas submerged 0,8-1 meter deep. Numerous businesses had to temporarily suspend operations to ensure safety.
Pham Trong Hung, Chairman of Thuan Bac Commune People's Committee, stated that about 6,000 workers from factories there had to temporarily stop work. The industrial park management also cut off electricity to the entire area to prevent incidents.

National Highway 1, opposite the industrial park, was flooded, causing localized traffic jams. By 10h, the rain subsided, water receded, and vehicles could move slowly.
Upstream floods from Ba Rau stream also submerged many crop areas, especially rice fields that were heading and in the milky stage, causing significant damage. The homes of dozens of households were flooded, and local forces had to evacuate the elderly and children to safe areas.
Additionally, the Ba Thap - Nui Le road through Thuan Bac commune, leading to Phuoc Khang, suffered severe landslides, affecting traffic. Damage is currently being assessed.
Over the past 24 hours, Khanh Hoa experienced heavy to very heavy rain, with common rainfall amounts of 100-250 mm. Some areas recorded higher levels: Nhon Hai 316,6 mm, Khanh Phu 334,6 mm, Ho Suoi Hanh - Dap Dau Moi 392 mm. Water levels on the Cai Nha Trang River and Cai Phan Rang River exceeded alarm levels 2-3, with some locations surpassing alarm level 3.
