Two field tents were erected by the army on the afternoon of 20/11 at the Ngoc Hoi intersection. This point connects the North-South railway with 23 Thang 10 Street (National Route 1C) and 19 Thang 5 Street, not far from the center of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa.
Each tent spans about 100 square meters, serving as a temporary area for the elderly and children to eat and rest. It also functions as a staging point for food and supplies to be distributed to residents in flooded areas.

Inside the tent, hundreds of people queued to report to ward officials about relatives trapped in the floods, allowing for rescue plans to be formulated.
Throughout the day, hundreds of food portions from relief teams, businesses, and local authorities were distributed free of charge to those affected by the floods. Many people busily sorted and divided the meals.
Eating inside a tent, Ms. Phuong recounted that floodwaters rose quickly, nearly submerging her house's roof. Rescue forces had to remove the corrugated iron roof to get her out. "I have never seen a flood rise so fast", she said.

Ms. Hoang Kieu called her family, informing them that despite having a two-story house, the water had reached halfway up the second floor. When rescue workers arrived, the canoe was too crowded, so her husband stayed behind while she and her two children were evacuated first. "I will stay at the shelter until my husband gets out, then we will rent a hotel for temporary accommodation", she said.
