A significant fire erupted at a five-story karaoke bar in Da Nang on the morning of 9/6, requiring a substantial emergency response. The affected building, with a floor area of about 100 square meters, comprises five stories and a mezzanine. The ground floor serves as a dining area, while the upper floors house karaoke rooms. The fire rapidly intensified, shattering several tempered glass panels on the 4th floor. Thick black smoke and flames rose high from both facades of the building, though some occupants inside managed to escape safely.

The Fire Police and Rescue Department of Da Nang City Police dispatched more than 10 specialized vehicles and nearly 100 officers and firefighters to the scene. Authorities also cut off electricity to the entire area to facilitate firefighting efforts. Firefighters divided into multiple teams to approach the blaze: one team used ladder trucks with water and foam spray systems from outside, while other teams accessed the building via staircases and rear emergency exits to contain the flames and prevent them from spreading to neighboring areas.

Due to the fire catching soundproofing materials and interior furnishings within the karaoke rooms, dense smoke spread across the 4th, 5th floors, and the mezzanine. By around 10:30 a.m., firefighters had to break additional glass panes to vent smoke, facilitating internal access.
By 11 a.m., the fire was largely brought under control. While the blaze caused no human casualties, many karaoke rooms on the 4th and 5th floors were gutted.
