Road closures and restrictions will begin at 11:30 a.m. on 21/8 and last until 3 a.m. on 22/8, 5.5 hours earlier than the August 13th announcement.
The following streets will be completely closed to traffic: Hoang Hoa Tham, Thuy Khue (from Hung Vuong to Van Cao), Mai Xuan Thuong, Quan Thanh, Phan Dinh Phung, Hung Vuong, Thanh Nien, Hoang Van Thu, Doc Lap, Dien Bien Phu, Ba Huyen Thanh Quan, Chua Mot Cot, Le Hong Phong, Ong Ich Khiem, Ngoc Ha, Bac Son, Ton That Dam, Nguyen Canh Chan, Hoang Dieu, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Chu Van An, Ton Duc Thang, Cat Linh, Trinh Hoai Duc, Hang Chao, Tran Phu, and Son Tay.
Additional closures include: Kim Ma, Lieu Giai, Van Cao, Nghi Tam, Yen Phu, Cua Bac, Doi Can, La-Pho slope, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Le Duan, Tran Nhan Tong (from Le Duan to Quang Trung), Trang Thi, Hang Khay, Trang Tien, Co Tan, Phan Chu Trinh (from Hai Ba Trung to Trang Tien), Le Thanh Tong, Tong Dan (from Ly Dao Thanh to Trang Tien), Tran Quang Khai, Tran Khanh Du, Quang Trung (from Ly Thuong Kiet to Trang Thi), Ly Thai To, Nguyen Huu Huan, Ngo Quyen (from the State Bank square to Trang Tien), Giang Vo, Lang Ha, and Lang (from Lang Ha to Tran Duy Hung).

During this period, Hanoi police will also restrict traffic within the first ring road, except for authorized vehicles such as those with security passes, vehicles serving the celebration, emergency vehicles, buses, garbage trucks, and maintenance vehicles.
Trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 1.5 tons or more, and passenger vehicles with 16 seats or more, will be prohibited between the first and second ring roads.
In addition to August 21st, Hanoi will also implement road closures for the second rehearsal on August 24th at 8 p.m., the preliminary rehearsal on August 27th at 8 p.m., and the general rehearsal on August 30th at 6:30 a.m.
On 2/9, Vietnam will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (A80) at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi. The parade will include nearly 16,000 participants in 43 marching blocks, 18 stationary blocks, and 14 blocks of military and special forces vehicles, showcasing ground, mechanized, air, and naval forces.
