The car continued to move for nearly one kilometer before stopping in Phan Thiet's coastal urban area. Approximately one kilometer away, at the Ton Duc Thang – Nguyen Tat Thanh intersection, a man believed to be the motorbike driver was found motionless.
The 56-year-old victim, residing in Phan Thiet ward, was taken to the emergency room but did not survive.
Lam Dong Provincial Police inspected the scene, requested a forensic examination of the body, and took statements from those involved to clarify the cause.
