The Vinh Ngoc market area was cluttered with mud and debris. The market's corrugated iron roof collapsed due to the floods. Next door, the doors and display cabinets of a pharmacy were also badly damaged.

Employees at a swallow's nest business on B2 Street, Vinh Diem Trung urban area, collected swallow's nest jars buried in mud for disposal. "Many machines were completely damaged, we only managed to move about 20% of our products to the second floor, with damages exceeding 300 million VND", a store representative said.

Teachers at a private kindergarten in Vinh Diem Trung urban area cleared mud from the school grounds. Yesterday, the school was submerged under nearly 2 meters of water, damaging many classrooms and student learning materials.
Tuan, an employee at a pub in Tay Nha Trang ward, cleared debris and collected items from the pub that were buried in mud. He stated that he had elevated items, but the water rose over 2 meters, damaging many assets, including three large refrigerators and numerous stoves, with total damages exceeding 100 million VND.

Employees used pumps to drain water from the parking basement of a supermarket in Tay Nha Trang ward. He reported that the basement contained over 100 motorcycles belonging to supermarket staff, but no automobiles.
In Gia Lai, the South Central Mobile Police Regiment (Mobile Police Command) dispatched 50 soldiers to assist Quy Nhon Tuberculosis and Lung Hospital with post-flood cleanup. The soldiers brought equipment to shovel mud and clean the ground floors and hospital corridors. Two days prior, the hospital was submerged under 2 meters of water, forcing doctors and nurses to move all machinery and patients to the first floor.
Doctors and nurses at Quy Nhon Tuberculosis and Lung Hospital worked together to collect mud and debris, aiming to quickly restore hospital operations.

Near the hospital, many residents also cleaned and repaired broken shelves and cabinets after the floods.
Although floodwaters have receded, many areas in Gia Lai, Dak Lak, and Khanh Hoa remain submerged. The five-day flood in the South Central region resulted in 43 deaths, with Khanh Hoa reporting 14 and Gia Lai five. The floods submerged over 52,000 homes, including over 9,000 in Khanh Hoa and over 19,000 in Gia Lai.
