Truck driver dies after entanglement with power lines

A truck driver was killed and his vehicle destroyed after the crane he was operating became entangled in power lines, causing a fire in Hoa Lac commune on the morning of 4/3.

Around 9:00 a.m. on 4/3, a 36-year-old male driver from Hoa Lac commune, Hanoi, was moving trees with a crane-mounted truck on National Highway 21A when the crane snagged overhead power lines. This caused a loud explosion, followed by smoke and flames. The driver was electrocuted and died, and the truck caught fire.

Following the incident, Hoa Lac Commune Police coordinated with the Professional Firefighting and Rescue Team to respond and extinguish the blaze. Despite their efforts, the truck and its crane were completely destroyed. The fire also spread, burning several nearby trees.
