Around 5:50 h, a woman riding a scooter on Kim Nguu street, heading from Mai Dong Bridge towards Lac Trung Bridge, collided with the front of a 46-seat passenger bus. The incident occurred in front of 581 Kim Nguu street, Vinh Tuy ward. The bus was driven by a 42-year-old male driver from Bac Ninh.

The scooter fell near the center of the road, and the woman died at the scene. Traffic in the area became congested, prompting traffic police to restrict car movement. Initial police reports indicated no alcohol was detected in the driver.

Kim Nguu street, connecting Minh Khai street with Tran Khat Chan street, is known for its narrow width. Cars are only allowed to travel one-way towards Tran Khat Chan. During rush hour, the route is often congested.

This incident follows another fatal accident that occurred at 14 h on 25/11. A man on a motorbike died after colliding with a truck on Ho Tung Mau street, specifically the section in front of Mai Dich cemetery gate, heading towards Xuan Thuy.
