10,000 Can Tho students participate in S-Race 2025

More than 10,000 students, teachers, and parents attend S-Race Can Tho 2025 on 15/11, marking the event's five-year journey in developing school sports.

Beyond direct participation, S-Race Can Tho 2025 activated 15 additional running locations city-wide. This extended the vibrant atmosphere from the main race route to schools and residential areas.

S-Race Can Tho 2025 marks the project's five-year milestone and is the first school sports event since the merger of Can Tho, Soc Trang, and Hau Giang. The initiative promotes physical activity among youth and strengthens community ties.

This year's race features three age categories: elementary (6-11 years old), junior high (11-15 years old), and high school (15-18 years old), with distances ranging from one km to three km. Organizers will present individual awards for the first to tenth places and three team awards to schools with the highest participation. The total prize pool is 132 million VND.

Beyond the main race, a special category for teachers, parents, and students running together fostered a sense of unity. School sports zones featuring football, basketball, and volleyball also attracted many participants.

Established in 2020, S-Race is a collaborative effort by the Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam Television, and Unicomm Communications Company. Its goal is to foster a healthy, dynamic generation of students, promoting comprehensive physical and mental development.

Over five years, S-Race has grown into Vietnam's largest school sports initiative. It has hosted 12 live events, 9 online events, and numerous "S-Race Impressions" photo, video, and article contests. With over 416,000 students, teachers, and parents participating nationwide, the program has achieved Vietnam, Asian, and world records.

Beyond sports, S-Race also has a community focus. It partners with the For Vietnamese Stature Foundation, raising over 1,9 billion VND to fund surgeries for children with mobility disabilities and support disadvantaged schools.

After five years, S-Race is developing a comprehensive school sports ecosystem with three branches: S-Race (the main race), S-Race School (for schools), and S-Race Family (for families). This hybrid model, combining live events with an online platform, allows students from diverse locations to participate.

Through initiatives like S-Race, TH Group aims to enhance the physical and intellectual development of future generations by promoting clean nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and a positive sporting spirit.
