Table tennis also saw two stars each claim 3 gold medals: Suthasini Sawettabut (Thailand) and Izaac Quek (Singapore). At just 19 years old, Quek was unrivaled in the men's singles, men's doubles, and men's team events. However, Quek's world ranking of 139 indicates that Southeast Asian table tennis still has a significant gap compared to continental and global standards.
