Jannik Sinner's new girlfriend: Laila Hasanovic's journey to fame

Danish model Laila Hasanovic has been dating Jannik Sinner for several months, witnessing many of the world number two tennis player's recent successes.

Childhood friends describe Laila as an outgoing yet practical girl, always curious about the world beyond her community. She spent one year studying in Kentucky, US, as an exchange student, focusing on English language and social studies at Svendborg high school.

Laila Hasanovic and Jannik Sinner dated privately for several months before their relationship became public last october. The Danish model, accompanied by her parents, attended the Vienna Open final, where Sinner faced Zverev. Following his victory, the Italian tennis player openly confirmed their relationship during his championship speech. Sinner has historically kept his private life out of the spotlight, making his public acknowledgment of the relationship particularly noteworthy.

Sinner and Hasanovic (left) were photographed with his team on 16/11 after winning the ATP Finals in Turin, Italy. When asked about their relationship status, following Hasanovic's cryptic social media post of a ring last weekend, Sinner denied any engagement.

Before Sinner, Laila was in a long-term relationship with Mick Schumacher, former Haas driver and son of F1 legend Michael Schumacher. They dated from 2022. Hasanovic was reportedly the only girlfriend of Mick's allowed to visit his father, who has not appeared publicly since a severe skiing accident over one decade ago. The couple broke up in april, with media outlets reporting their reappearance on dating apps.

Born in 2000 to a family of Bosnian immigrants, Laila Hasanovic is known for her collaborations with major brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Armani Beauty, and Prada. Hasanovic moved to Copenhagen at 19, entering the entertainment industry by placing in the top 25 of Miss Universe Denmark 2019.

Through her current modeling career and significant social media influence, Laila Hasanovic is estimated to have a net worth of around 1 million USD. While she resides in Copenhagen, she travels frequently, with fashion hubs like Milan or Paris regularly featured on her Instagram.

Since opening her accounts in 2013, Hasanovic has gained a significant social media following, boasting over 400,000 followers on Instagram, more than 300,000 on TikTok, and nearly 50,000 on YouTube. She frequently shares fashion-related content, including behind-the-scenes glimpses from shows. Her online presence saw a surge in interest during the Covid-19 period.

It was during the Covid-19 period that Hasanovic had her first notable relationship with Danish footballer Jonas Wind. When Wind moved to Wolfsburg, Germany, to play in the summer of 2022, she also relocated there to live with him. However, the couple separated quickly before the World Cup.
