On 19/2, Wolverhampton posted an 81-second TikTok video, compiling instances where they believed Arsenal had time-wasted during their 2-2 draw at Molineux. The video opened with Gabriel Martinelli gesturing a 2-1 scoreline towards the home stands, accompanied by the sarcastic caption, "quite confident, aren't we?".
The video then showed slow-motion replays of Arsenal players on the ground or delaying set pieces. Notably, defender Santiago Bueno had to retrieve the ball and place it for a corner kick for the away team. However, Mikel Arteta's players passed the responsibility, with no one stepping up to take the kick. The commentary quipped, "finding someone to take a corner kick must be difficult". In one moment, defender Gabriel Magalhaes lay on the ground for a while, accompanied by the comment, "he must be in great pain". After the Brazilian defender stood up, Wolves added, "Oh, he's fine".

The video concluded with Tom Edozie's 94th-minute equalizer, which came after a miscommunication between Gabriel and goalkeeper David Raya. The 19-year-old midfielder's shot deflected off Riccardo Calafiori before finding the net, followed by celebrations from Wolves players and fans. The video also featured a face-with-hand-over-mouth emoji. Wolves' post was captioned "masterclass in game management", used sarcastically to imply Arsenal's failed attempt to run down the clock. Within four hours, the video garnered millions of views and over 270,000 likes, with many comments mocking Arsenal while praising the home team.
In the match on 18/2, Arsenal started well against the bottom-placed opponent. Bukayo Saka opened the scoring in the 5th minute, before Piero Hincapie doubled the lead early in the second half. However, retreating deep cost them. Wolves reduced the deficit with Bueno's goal in the 61st minute, before Edozie's late equalizer secured a 2-2 draw.
Tensions flared immediately after referee Paul Tierney's final whistle, when forward Gabriel Jesus pushed Yerson Mosquera, leading to intervention from many players from both sides. Arsenal still led the league, 5 points ahead of Man City but having played one more match. The two teams still had a direct confrontation at the Etihad Stadium on 18/4.
