Visitors can easily reach Binh My via a waterway route departing from Tan Cang Wharf. This accessibility is a key advantage for the area, as its suburban location allows for seamless connection to the city center through a network of boat landings. Traveling by speedboat not only reduces travel time but also offers a scenic experience along the Saigon River, a tourism product Ho Chi Minh City is actively promoting.
A highlight of the tourism offerings here is the blend of culture, agriculture, and entertainment. Upon arrival at Wetro Line - Moon River pier, visitors are greeted with a martial arts performance called "Spirit of the River".
Following this, guests can explore Mr. Hai Tu’s pottery village, a model combining exhibits, hands-on experiences, and a coffee service. This initiative represents an effort to revive traditional craft values in the suburban area.
In Binh My, visitors can tour and learn about agricultural production at a dairy farm and vegetable gardens. Local residents transform agricultural products into cultural experiences and services. Guests learn about the breeding process, feeding cows, milking, and tasting fresh milk. They can also try traditional fish catching, fruit picking, and enjoy meals directly in the garden. This model aligns with the growing trend of experiential and educational tourism, while also increasing income opportunities for local residents.
For lunch, visitors dine at a rural market area within the Binh My fruit orchards, a cluster where many fruit-growing households offer tourism services. Guests can cycle or ride motorbikes between the gardens, experiencing the peaceful pace of rural life.

The commune’s proximity to the city center, its expansive land, numerous riverside stretches, and developed traditional agriculture create favorable conditions for establishing riverside eco-tourism products, agricultural tourism, and weekend retreat models.
Moreover, the abundant river and canal system, coupled with typical rural landscapes, makes the area suitable for activities like boating, fishing, camping, and experiencing rural life. The locality currently features eco-tourism areas and resorts such as: Binh My Eco-tourism Area, Huong Sen, Kim Ngoc, and Greenland Farm.
Beyond nature, Binh My also boasts numerous cultural and historical sites, including the Go Mon Platoon memorial, Song Lu memorial area, the commune’s martyrs’ memorial temple, and the Y4 memorial. Additionally, there is a system of riverside religious establishments such as Hoa Sen Pagoda, Buu Chau Pagoda, Cay Duong Communal House, and Bon Phu Communal House. These provide a foundation for developing cultural and spiritual tourism, linked to exploring local history and customs.
A representative from the Binh My Commune People’s Committee stated that the locality will continue to improve infrastructure, standardize services, and support residents in developing economic models linked to tourism. The commune aims to become one of Ho Chi Minh City’s prominent suburban destinations, where visitors can genuinely experience agricultural life, craft village culture, and riverine landscapes.
