Six people, including a Thai national and the driver, jumped out and escaped death. A pickup truck picked up four of them, while two fled the scene.
Police stated that the deceased victims all had blue strings tied around their right wrists, a sign indicating they were migrant workers being transported.
All bodies went to the Bangkok Forensic Institute for examination to determine the cause of death and identity. Authorities are collecting evidence and searching for the Thai driver, accused of reckless driving causing death and illegally transporting foreign workers.
