US vice president JD Vance has dismissed persistent speculation about his marriage, assuring the public that his union with second lady Usha Vance remains robust. In an interview with NBC on 5/12, Vance directly addressed the rumors, emphasizing the enduring strength of their relationship.
"Anything in life is like that; you have to accept both the good and the bad. You have to accept that there are sacrifices, and there are also very good things that come with it. Our marriage is as strong as ever, and I think Usha is truly happy with that," Vance stated.
He also expressed his satisfaction with his wife's continued growth and development in her new role.

Addressing rumors of marital discord, which surfaced after Usha Vance was seen without her wedding ring during a military base visit in november, Vance said he and his wife found such speculation "amusing".
Vance also rebutted former White House press secretary Jen Psaki, who earlier this year implied that the vice president's marriage "had problems" and suggested Usha might need his help. Vance labeled Psaki's remarks as "shameful".
Usha and Vance met at Yale Law School. They married in 2014 and have three children: Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel, aged 4-8.
Usha Vance previously clerked for US Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts and Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. She left her law firm when her husband was chosen by Donald Trump as the vice presidential candidate for the 2024 election campaign.
