Slabstone showcases sintered stone solutions at A80 exhibition

Slabstone, the sintered stone brand of Trung Do Corporation, presented a diverse product display at the 80th Anniversary of National Achievements Exhibition from August 28th to September 5th.

The exhibition, held at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), featured hundreds of prominent businesses and organizations. Slabstone's display, themed "Red Lines of Innovation," highlighted the company's commitment to innovation.

The company's booth, designed with a dominant red color scheme, symbolized the strength and unity of its materials while reflecting the innovative spirit of the Nghe An-based enterprise. "With Slabstone, we're not just introducing a new construction material, but also conveying the spirit of pioneering innovation—the spirit of Trung Do, of Nghe An, and of the Vietnamese people in this era of transformation," said Nguyen Viet Anh, Slabstone's head of design.

Launched in 2022, Slabstone builds on Trung Do's more than 50 years of experience in building materials production. Slabstone is a large-format sintered stone manufactured in Vietnam using Continua+ technology from Sacmi Group (Italy). The product is waterproof, heat-resistant, and environmentally friendly, aligning with the sustainable trends in the construction industry. These products are currently used in high-end architecture and interior design: from kitchen countertops and bathrooms to wall cladding and large-scale projects.

Trung Do stated that participating in the National Achievements Exhibition provided an opportunity to showcase Vietnamese-made building materials and demonstrate their technological self-sufficiency. "We aim to expand into international markets as the domestic materials industry becomes increasingly integrated globally," a company representative said.

Slabstone currently has over 20 showrooms nationwide and is expanding into export markets such as South Korea, Australia, and North America. It is a strategic brand of Trung Do Corporation, a company with over 66 years of experience in building materials manufacturing. With a diverse product portfolio including bricks, tiles, sintered stone, and industrial investments, Trung Do aims to become a pioneer in high-tech materials in Vietnam.

The 80th Anniversary of National Achievements Exhibition, spanning nearly 260,000 m2, is the largest of its kind to date. The event hosted 34 provinces and cities, 28 ministries and sectors, and over 230 booths from 106 state-owned and private enterprises. The exhibition was divided into three main zones: a general overview zone (Kim Quy Exhibition Hall); an outdoor exhibition zone (East, West, South, and North Courtyards); and an international exhibition zone featuring 12 cultural industries (Block A Exhibition Hall).
