The factory, covering over 130,000 square meters, comprises two zones. One zone focuses on research and development (R&D) and the production of electronic modules and high-tech devices. The other zone will produce autonomous robots and smart home appliances. According to the plan, once operational, the project will supply millions of electronic modules, smart devices, and over 100,000 autonomous robots annually.
A Sunhouse representative stated that AI will be applied throughout the research, development, and production processes of smart home appliances. Alongside AI, the company is investing in technologies such as IoT, autonomous robots, and SLAM positioning to build an ecosystem of products capable of connectivity, automation, and enhanced user experience.

The construction of the autonomous robot and AI device factory marks the company's shift from traditional appliance manufacturing to a deeper mastery of core technologies, including AI, IoT, robotics, and smart manufacturing.
"The autonomous robot and AI device factory signifies a new development stage in Sunhouse's technological capabilities, aiming to master core technology and develop smart home products for tens of millions of Vietnamese families and consumers in the region", said Nguyen Xuan Phu, Chairman of Sunhouse Group.
According to the company, the project's goal is not only to expand production scale but also to realize the strategy of popularizing smart home appliances. By mastering technologies like AI, IoT, autonomous robots, and electronic modules, the company expects to integrate smart features into many essential products at more accessible prices, helping more Vietnamese families access technology in their daily lives.

This project is the next step in the technology investment strategy Sunhouse has pursued for many years. Previously, the company developed high-tech product groups such as water purifiers and ceiling fans, and invested in the Sunhouse Technologies microchip and electronic component factory to gradually expand its electronic manufacturing capabilities.
As AI and automation reshape the manufacturing industry, Sunhouse believes that competitive advantage no longer lies in factory scale but in the ability to master technology. Investing in R&D, electronic modules, and autonomous robots is expected to help the company progressively participate more deeply in high value-added stages of the global value chain.
