A second-grade girl was severely bruised on her back and arms after being assaulted by a male classmate at Ha Tong Muc Primary School yesterday, 20/4. The incident, which occurred around 4 PM, reportedly stemmed from the girl "promising candy but not keeping her word." At the time, only the two students were in the classroom as their teacher was not on duty, according to school leaders who reported the incident on 21/4.
Upon discovering the incident, teachers and family members took the girl to a medical facility for examination. Doctors confirmed she sustained superficial injuries. The school and parents have since met to discuss a plan for the student's well-being.
