According to GMA, Ahtisa Manalo from the Philippines wore a design by Mak Tumang. The gown's layers symbolized Filipino festivals such as the lantern festival, Pahiyas, and Panagbenga. Her performance garnered attention, receiving over 250,000 likes and seven thousand shares within four hours.
The 74th season, themed "Beyond the Crown," began in early november.
