On 20/7, one day after the World Cup final, Antonela Roccuzzo posted a photo of Lionel Messi on her personal page, sending him words of encouragement. She wrote:
"You will always be the best, not just because of your talent, but also because you never lost yourself. No matter what happened, you never gave up, always fought to the end, and gave your all until the last moment. That strength, that spirit, and the way you get back up after every stumble has made you unique.
Thank you for showing us every day that true success is built on effort, sacrifice, perseverance, and not losing oneself. You are the best example for our children and an inspiration to millions. I admire you more than words can express, and I am incredibly proud to be by your side in this life. I love you very much,".

Below her post, many friends and fans shared their support for the famous couple. David Beckham wrote: "You are both special people, and the best thing you have are your children. We are all incredibly proud of Messi,".
In this year's tournament, Messi shone with 8 goals and 4 assists, helping Argentina reach the final match. He became the first player to start three World Cup finals, but could not create a miracle against Spain. Argentina was outmatched and lost 0-1 due to Ferran Torres's goal in the 106th minute.
