After 2:00 AM on 31/5, many teenagers on motorbikes gathered at the intersection of the 72-meter road and Le Nin Boulevard in Vinh Phu ward (formerly part of Vinh City). They then simultaneously ran red lights and stopped their vehicles in the middle of the intersection.
Through the surveillance camera system, authorities identified 58 violations, including 52 individuals running red lights, 5 not wearing helmets, and one case of carrying three people without a helmet.
Police noted that during the summer break, there is an increasing trend of teenagers gathering late at night and committing traffic violations. This poses risks to traffic safety and affects public order.
Authorities advised parents to enhance supervision of their children, refrain from entrusting vehicles to unqualified drivers, and limit late-night gatherings to prevent violations and traffic accidents.
