Dong Nai Provincial Police began questioning individuals on 5/6 as part of an investigation into the death of Quoc Van Dau, an 80-year-old resident of Dong Tam commune.

Initial reports indicate that on the previous morning, Mr. Dau's relatives repeatedly called him but received no response. Growing concerned, they went to his home to check on his well-being.

Upon finding the outside door locked, and suspecting something amiss, they, along with neighbors, forced entry into the residence.

Inside, Mr. Dau was found deceased. His body bore multiple injuries, and investigators observed numerous bloodstains around the scene and on the floor. Several belongings appeared disturbed.
