Lieutenant General Mai Hoang provides update on arrest of suspects in foreigner's fatal shooting

At 10h, Ho Chi Minh City Police Director Mai Hoang chaired a press conference to announce details about a shooting in Ben Thanh ward that resulted in one foreigner dead and another injured.

The press conference on the morning of 26/5 was also attended by leaders from professional units of the Ministry of Public Security and Tay Ninh Police.

The shooting occurred on the evening of 21/5. After committing the crime, two suspects fled the scene, took a taxi to the Co.opmart Trang Bang supermarket area in Tay Ninh, and then exited the vehicle.

Ho Chi Minh City Police immediately coordinated with professional units from the Ministry of Public Security and Tay Ninh Police to successfully apprehend the suspects.
