According to the investigation, Ngo used phones and laptops to organize online cockfighting betting from a house in Duc Lap commune. The group operated clandestinely, with specific roles assigned to each member.
Through reconnaissance, the Criminal Police Department identified this as a large-scale gambling den and established a special investigation to combat it.
Four days ago, dozens of police officers simultaneously raided the location, catching seven people participating in betting activities red-handed.
At the scene, police seized laptops, a television, numerous related documents, and over 60 million VND in cash.
Initial investigation results indicate that from 1/5 to 31/5, the total amount wagered by gamblers through this ring was approximately 80 billion VND.
Police are continuing to expand the investigation to clarify the roles of all individuals involved.
