On 24/5, residents walking in the Thien An hill area noticed a car parked by the roadside for several days. Upon investigating, they looked through the window and discovered a deceased man inside, promptly reporting it to authorities.
Thuy Xuan ward authorities and Hue City Police subsequently cordoned off the scene and conducted a post-mortem examination.
At the scene, the car doors were locked, and the victim was found in the back seat. During the examination, police determined the man had died approximately three days prior, with his body already decomposing. The cause of death is under investigation.
Local residents stated that the Thien An hill area attracts many tourists daily who visit and photograph the pine forest. The car had been parked there for several days without drawing attention.
At night, the road through this area is quite deserted, with many vehicles often stopping along the roadside to rest or sightsee.
