Management colludes to sell tickets twice and split the proceeds
The Tam Thanh relic complex, located in Tam Thanh ward, lies within a limestone mountain and is a renowned spiritual tourism destination in Lang Son.
According to initial investigations, from 2/2 to the present, some individuals entrusted with managing and operating the relic site conspired to embezzle money from entrance ticket sales and parking fees.
The group is accused of exploiting the fact that many tourists in large groups do not take their tickets, allowing them to collect money separately. In some instances, when a visitor purchased a 20,000 VND ticket, employees would only issue a 10,000 VND ticket, retaining the difference.
Additionally, after checking tickets at the gate, security personnel did not invalidate them as required. Instead, they kept the tickets and handed them over to Nhung and Ha. These two then reused the old tickets for subsequent visitors instead of printing new ones from the E-ticket system.
For large groups paying cash, the employees allowed visitors to enter first. They would then report a lower number to purchase tickets to cover their tracks. As the money did not pass through the management board's account, this scheme went undetected numerous times.

Both entrance and parking fees were siphoned off
In the parking area, Thai was responsible for collecting car parking fees at the lot in front of the relic site. However, he is accused of collecting money from visitors without issuing tickets through the E-ticket system.
Investigations revealed that Thai only remitted a portion of the money each day, corresponding to the figures recorded in the system. The remainder was transferred to Nhung, combined with the difference from entrance ticket sales, and then split among them at the end of the week.
The investigative agency initially determined that the group embezzled nearly 200 million VND from state revenue.
The Lang Son Provincial Police are continuing to expand the investigation, clarify the responsibilities of those involved, and recover the assets.
Through this case, authorities urged those entrusted with managing public assets to strictly adhere to financial regulations, ensuring that all revenue and expenditure are transparent.
