The incident occurred after the 13-year-old 7th-grade student attended a math tutoring class at the teacher's center in Dao Thanh Ward on 20/4. During the class, the student removed anti-scratch pads from under the tables and chairs.
Two days later, when the student returned to the center, the teacher hit him multiple times with a cane on his arms, shoulders, back, and head.
The student's parents later discovered numerous bruises on his body. After questioning their son, they reported the incident to the ward police.
Following the report, authorities temporarily suspended the center's operations to investigate.
After verification, the ward police concluded that the teacher's actions did not meet the criteria for criminal prosecution, leading to an administrative penalty.
