Amidst the steady sound of saws in a wood factory in Dong Nai, Tran Thi My Le's (26 years old) phone unexpectedly displayed a message announcing she had won the special prize of 100 million VND from the "Tear Off and Win Instantly" summer promotion by Dr Thanh Tea, Zero Degree Green Tea, and Number 1 Energy Drink.

She initially believed it was a scam or a mistaken message. During her shift, she put her phone away, continued working, and did not think much about the message.

Several hours later, the program organizers repeatedly called to verify and guide her through the prize claim procedures. However, it was not until she personally visited the program's website and saw her phone number listed among the winners that she gradually accepted it was real.

"At that moment, my heart was racing, but I still wondered if it was truly real," she recalled.

It took nearly one week for her skepticism to fade. The first person she informed was her older sister back home. Like her, her family members also did not believe the news.

My Le moved from her hometown to Dong Nai many years ago and currently works as a laborer at a wood processing company. Her job requires standing at machines for many hours with high intensity, making shifts from morning until night a common occurrence.

Like many young workers away from home, her income is primarily used for living expenses, savings, and supporting her family. In addition to her main job, she also invested with a friend to open a small hair salon, hoping for an additional income stream and to gradually build a stable life.

Her days consist of working hours at the factory, while evenings are dedicated to managing the salon. However, plans to upgrade the salon were repeatedly postponed due to a lack of capital.

According to My Le, the prize money arrived at a crucial time when she needed more resources to invest in her hair salon. Instead of spending it on immediate needs, she plans to use most of the money to renovate the salon, add machinery, and acquire equipment to enhance service quality. A portion will be sent home to her parents.

"100 million VND won't change my life overnight, but it will help a plan I've pursued for years start sooner," she shared.
