Inside the glamorous life of Steve Jobs' daughter

Eve Jobs, the youngest daughter of Apple founder Steve Jobs, married in a lavish ceremony on 23/7, with a guest list of global celebrities.

Her husband is British equestrian Harry Charles. The families reportedly spent about 6.7 million USD on the wedding, organized by renowned event designer Stanlee Gatti.

Guests included former US Vice President Kamala Harris, singer Elton John, Princess Beatrice, Bill Gates' daughters Jennifer and Phoebe, and Roman Abramovich's daughter.

The event offers a glimpse into the fairytale life of 26-year-old Eve Jobs, born into immense wealth but forging her own path in modeling and equestrian sports.

Born in 1998, Eve is the youngest of three children of Steve Jobs and Laurene Powell Jobs. Despite the family's billion-dollar fortune, Eve was raised with limited exposure to technology and an emphasis on simplicity.

International media report the Jobs family lived in a 1930s house described as resembling "something out of an English village," with a wildflower garden and a rarely locked gate.

According to Walter Isaacson's biography of Steve Jobs, young Eve was strong-willed and playful. She once called her father's assistant to request he reduce his workload to spend more time with her.

The Apple founder strived to give his children a normal upbringing. He didn't employ housekeepers, security personnel, or drivers.

Despite creating one of the world's most successful tech companies, he limited his children's use of technology, including the iPad.

When a reporter asked if his children "liked" the new iPad, he replied, "They haven't used it. We limit how much technology our kids use at home."

After Steve Jobs died of pancreatic cancer in 2011, his estimated 10.5 billion USD fortune was left to his wife. Laurene has stated she doesn't intend to leave an inheritance for her children. "Steve wasn't interested in the accumulation of wealth, and neither am I. My kids know that," she shared.

Eve graduated from Stanford University in 2021 with a degree in Science, Technology, and Society. Unlike her brother Reed, who pursued academia, or her sister Erin, who maintains a private life, Eve chose a career in fashion.

She debuted at Paris Fashion Week in 2021 and quickly gained attention from brands like Glossier, Louis Vuitton, Vogue, and Vanity Fair. In 2022, Eve signed with DNA Model Management, which represents models such as Kaia Gerber, Emily Ratajkowski, and Doutzen Kroes.

"I never thought I'd be a model. But then I thought, why not? It taps into my competitive side," she said.

Alongside her fashion career, Eve is a professional equestrian, named "Rider of the Month" in 2017 and ranked 5th globally in the under-25 group in 2019, according to Horse Sports.

She divides her time between New York and a 15 million USD equestrian farm in Florida, purchased by her mother in 2016 to support her training. Eve has over 418,000 followers on social media, where she shares glimpses of her fashion, equestrian pursuits, and personal life.

Eve is currently dating Harry Charles, an equestrian who represented Great Britain at the Olympics. She was spotted cheering him on at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he won a gold medal in the team event and competed in the individual final.

At 26, Eve Jobs is building a reputation as an independent woman, forging her own path in fashion and professional sports, rather than relying on her famous father's legacy.

"I want to use my platform to make a difference, but I'll do it my way, when the time is right," she said.
