The signing ceremony took place during a workshop on AI and cybersecurity in the digital age, organized by the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), together with The Asia Foundation and the Da Nang Women Entrepreneurs Association. The program was co-sponsored by Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG) and BIDV.
IPPG became one of the first two businesses in Vietnam to establish a partnership with UN Women, sharing the goal of promoting gender equality, women's economic empowerment, and sustainable development practices in the private sector.

Under the agreement, IPPG and UN Women will promote a people-centered business model, emphasizing the role of women in leadership, management, and innovation. The partnership will not only expand opportunities for women in technology but also create a foundation for businesses to maximize their potential from AI and digital solutions.
Ms. Thuy Tien stated that to become pioneering leaders in the digital age, female entrepreneurs need to be equipped with technological thinking, digital skills, and adaptability. "We believe that empowering women not only contributes to the development of a high-quality workforce but also promotes the sustainable development of businesses and society," she explained.

Participating in the discussion panel with speakers and experts on AI and cybersecurity, Ms. Le Hong Thuy Tien emphasized that in the digital age, AI is not just a tool, but an important strategic platform that will shape how we think, operate, and create value in the future.
"At IPPG, AI is both a transformative factor and an inevitable step forward. We are committed to applying AI responsibly—strategically and humanely—to create sustainable value for the community and the business," Ms. Thuy Tien stated.
According to Ms. Thuy Tien, AI is only truly effective when accompanied by comprehensive security solutions. Previously, IPPG proactively built a security system from the design stage, with three core protective layers: data governance and responsible AI; multi-layered security infrastructure; and development of a cybersecurity culture across the group.

The workshop on AI and cybersecurity in the digital age attracted more than 150 delegates from state management agencies, departments, presidents of women's business associations, and prominent female entrepreneurs. Among them were Ms. Caroline T. Nyamayemombe, Head of UN Women Vietnam; Mr. Le Son Phong, Deputy Director of Da Nang Department of Science and Technology; Ms. Mai Thi Dieu Huyen, Vice President in charge of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Program Manager for Gender and Social Development at The Asia Foundation in Vietnam.
The program provided in-depth content on technology trends, AI applications in business management, and a range of security solutions to help companies ensure information security in the digital economy.
The event also served as an opportunity to connect female leaders with management agencies, support organizations, and experts, thereby sharing the intersectional values of technology, people, and governance. The organizers hope that the workshop will also contribute to enhancing the adaptability and innovation of the Vietnamese female entrepreneur community in the digital age.
