Vietnam Airlines partners with South Korean food company

Vietnam Airlines and AT Corporation are collaborating to offer signature South Korean meals on flights.

On 24/6, the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (AT) and Vietnam Airlines signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to promote and distribute South Korean food in the Vietnamese market.

Both parties agreed to leverage their premium brand images to implement cooperative activities. These include providing high-quality Korean food to passengers and promoting it through video content on flights, with the goal of strengthening their brands and expanding market reach.

Since 18/5, Vietnam Airlines has been serving golden melon, a specialty Korean fruit known for its sweetness, aroma, and crispness, in business class on eight key domestic routes. These routes include Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi to Phu Quoc, and Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang.

From June through July, passengers on international flights between Vietnam and South Korea will also enjoy other signature products such as tea, red ginseng, rice water, and nut milk.

In addition to experiencing distinctive flavors, passengers can explore Korean food culture through engaging promotional content shown on flights.

AT is an affiliate of South Korea's Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. It plays a key role in promoting the export and international market development of Korean food. In Vietnam, AT has organized major events like K-Food Fair and K-Food Festival, bringing Korean food closer to Vietnamese consumers.
