Temperatures at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on 1/7 peaked at 31 degrees Celsius, lower than many other matches in the tournament. However, Tudor said several players struggled to adapt to the conditions and couldn't play the full 90 minutes against Real Madrid.
"The conditions today were really tough. 10 players asked me to take them off. They were really tired," Tudor said after the match. "There are a lot of factors. It's the end of the season, the players are under a lot of pressure, which takes a toll on their energy. The heat and humidity made the game even more difficult."

FIFA's decision to expand the FIFA Club World Cup to 32 teams and hold it during the summer has drawn criticism, including from former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
Tudor didn't share this view, seeing the tournament as a positive experience that allows Juventus to compete against top clubs. "We'll have three weeks of rest, so I don't think the FIFA Club World Cup will negatively impact us. But the whole team needs to rest, restart, and come back stronger," he said.
Juventus started the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup strong with a 5-0 win against Al Ain and a 4-1 victory over Wydad AC. However, they then suffered consecutive defeats against two top European clubs, losing 2-5 to Man City in their final group stage match and 0-1 to Real Madrid in the round of 16.
"We've learned from two of the best teams in the world," Tudor expressed. "It's valuable to compare ourselves to these teams and learn lessons for the future. The players gave their all, we played our best, and unfortunately it wasn't enough."
Juventus General Director, Damien Comolli, also considered the FIFA Club World Cup experience valuable. He believed Juventus could have progressed further if they hadn't faced a strong team like Real Madrid in the round of 16.
Comolli took over from Cristiano Giuntoli right before the FIFA Club World Cup. As a result, he's been extremely busy not only with the tournament but also with the transfer market.
"We analyzed the club before the tournament and saw that we have good players. They need to understand how good they are, that they can win. The whole team needs to relearn how to win," Comolli emphasized. "That will be my and the coaching staff's goal for the next few months."
