According to Cadena SER, Real Madrid has set a price of 90 million euros (105 million USD) for any club wishing to acquire Rodrygo.

Arsenal has contacted the Brazilian forward and a deal could potentially be finalized. The same source also reports that Rodrygo wants to consider other options and is aware of Man City's interest.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has stated that Arsenal greatly admires Rodrygo. However, the Gunners will not open negotiations until the 24-year-old forward informs Real Madrid of his desire to leave.
Any transfer could only take place from mid-July, as Rodrygo is currently participating in the FIFA Club World Cup with Real Madrid, a tournament that runs until 13/7.
In the group stage, the Brazilian forward started and provided an assist for Gonzalo Garcia's goal in the opening 1-1 draw against Al Hilal. However, he was then benched for the 3-1 victory over Pachuca, despite star striker Kylian Mbappe's absence due to acute gastroenteritis.
Center-back Gabriel Magalhaes has also encouraged his compatriot to move to the Emirates Stadium. "Of course, I want that deal," he said on the Brazilian podcast PodPah. "Rodrygo is top-class. If it were up to me, I'd want him at Arsenal."
In May, Marca reported that Rodrygo no longer wanted to play for Real Madrid, feeling overshadowed by Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe. The media attention given to Bellingham and Mbappe reportedly left Rodrygo feeling lost at the Bernabeu, despite previously being touted as a future leader of Real Madrid's attack alongside fellow Brazilian Vinicius.

Arsenal is looking to bolster its attack after failing to win the Premier League title for three consecutive seasons. In the 2024-2025 season, the Gunners only scored 69 goals, 17 fewer than champions Liverpool. Kai Havertz was the team's top scorer with just 9 goals, ranking 26th in the league. Arsenal's expected goals (xG) was only 61.6, ranking sixth out of 20 teams.
Manager Mikel Arteta has also strengthened the midfield. On 25/6, Arsenal reached an agreement to sign Brentford captain Christian Norgaard for 12 million USD. They also spent 68 million USD to sign Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad.
Conversely, the Gunners terminated Jorginho's contract and parted ways with Thomas Partey after his contract expired.
