In recent years, Esports in Vietnam has experienced rapid growth in both tournament scale and viewership. Major events such as AIC, Dau Truong Danh Vong, and VCS consistently draw thousands of spectators.
This rising demand highlighted a need for a ticketing platform tailored to fan expectations. Most tournaments previously offered only single-match tickets, lacking flexible options like day passes or round passes, which are crucial for Esports' multi-day, multi-match formats. Furthermore, tickets were not categorized by team zone or bundle pass. This approach starkly contrasts with international tournaments, which commonly employ a multi-layer ticketing model. This model typically includes options such as: match tickets, daily passes, round passes, tournament passes, and even exclusive packages like MVP Pass or Super Pass.

This situation underscored the need for a system supporting tournament operations. Such a system requires specific Esports seating charts and diverse ticket types, offering options for individual matches, rounds, teams, and accompanying benefits. Additionally, the ticketing platform must manage fan flow, provide real-time data, and facilitate efficient check-in procedures.
To address challenges faced by both organizers and fans, CTicket developed a specialized suite of Esports features. The platform now offers various ticket types, including match tickets, daily passes, round passes, and tournament passes. This allows fans to select the specific matches or packages they prefer, enhancing the viewing experience and bringing it closer to the multi-layer ticketing models seen in international tournaments.
To prevent duplicate seating issues arising from fragmented ticket allocations, CTicket implemented a centralized management system for all ticket types. This system synchronizes seating availability in real-time, ensuring accurate transactions. A brand representative stated that this approach enhances transparency and significantly minimizes operational errors.
A key aspect of sports fandom is team support, yet previous tournaments often lacked dedicated fan zones. CTicket addressed this by introducing Team Zone and Fan Zone selection features. These allow fans to sit in their preferred areas, intensifying their cheering experience and fostering a unique atmosphere for each team.
The platform also optimizes the entire event journey for fans. The ticket purchase process is streamlined, prioritizing e-wallets and QR payments. This enables users to complete transactions quickly, reduces operational errors, and boosts the success rate of ticket purchases during peak sales.
A QR check-in system reduces entrance congestion, a common issue when thousands of fans arrive simultaneously. For multi-day tournaments with dynamic schedules, CTicket sends match-specific tickets and includes a match time reminder feature, ensuring fans do not miss important games.
