Djokovic slipped and fell just two points away from serving out the match. The Serbian player recovered to close out the game and defeat his 15-years-younger opponent 6-7(6), 6-2, 7-5, 6-4.
The match proved challenging for Djokovic as he faced Cobolli's youthful energy, speed, and aggressive playing style. This was Djokovic's second consecutive come-from-behind victory after losing the first set, fueling his hopes for a 25th Grand Slam title. However, the fall resulted in Djokovic skipping practice on July 10, the day before his semifinal match.
"My body is not the same as it used to be," Djokovic expressed concern about his physical condition after the fall. "I've fallen many times like that at Wimbledon, but maybe I won't feel this one until tomorrow. I hope it's not too serious and everything will be okay in the next two days."

Djokovic has previously mentioned that the Grand Slam schedule is less demanding than other tournaments throughout the year because of the day off between matches. However, the five-set format and the younger generation's energy still leave the Serbian player feeling exhausted.
"At 36, I'm still moving well on the grass and playing the way I want to," Djokovic added. "I have about 10 people on my team helping me maintain this. Sometimes I get tired with all the work I have to do to get my body ready to compete every day. I spend many hours off the court trying to take care of my body and make the most of what it has."
Djokovic has not yet played a five-set match in this tournament and hasn't faced a top-seeded opponent. His challenge will intensify in the semifinals against world number one Jannik Sinner, who efficiently dispatched Ben Shelton in straight sets in his quarterfinal match.
Djokovic has lost his last four matches against Sinner, including two Grand Slam semifinals and the Shanghai Masters 1000 final. "I thought I played well in those losses, and Sinner was simply better at the important moments," the 24-time Grand Slam champion said. "The next match is a new opportunity for me. Playing Sinner is the biggest challenge possible. I'm looking forward to it and will try my best to prepare."
The semifinal match between Djokovic and Sinner is scheduled for around 10 PM on 11/7 (Hanoi time), immediately following the match between Carlos Alcaraz and Taylor Fritz.
