Tsitsipas began working with Ivanisevic last week at the Halle Open. The Greek player hopes to regain his form after a slump that saw him drop to 26th in the ATP rankings.
Tsitsipas and Djokovic shared the Aorangi Park practice court on 25/6, right after world number one Jannik Sinner finished his session with Grigor Dimitrov. Djokovic greeted Sinner's team and then chatted with Ivanisevic. The two worked together for six years, from 2018 to 2024, during Djokovic's peak post-30s period.

With Ivanisevic as his coach, Djokovic won 12 Grand Slam titles and became the most successful male player in history with 24 major titles. Their partnership ended in 3/2024 when their contract expired. Since then, Djokovic hasn't won another Grand Slam, but he did secure an Olympic gold medal.
The Serbian player is aiming for his 8th Wimbledon title, a record currently held by Roger Federer. In the past two years, Djokovic reached the final but lost to Carlos Alcaraz both times.
Not being among the top 4 seeds, Djokovic faces the risk of encountering Alcaraz, Sinner, or Zverev in the Wimbledon quarterfinals. This scenario occurred in the last two Grand Slams, the Australian Open and Roland Garros. Earlier this month, Djokovic defeated Zverev in the Roland Garros quarterfinals but lost to Sinner in straight sets in the semifinals.
As is his custom, Djokovic hasn't played in any tournaments leading up to Wimbledon. He's scheduled to play only an exhibition match at Hurlingham this week. Djokovic will find out his first-round opponent, as well as potential future opponents, at the draw ceremony on 27/6.
