Nuyanzin's goal was to gain over 22,5 kg before starting a weight loss regimen he planned to introduce to his clients.
To achieve this, the fitness coach consumed about 10,000 calories daily, a level many times higher than recommended for an adult.

Dmitry Nuyanzin consumed over 10,000 calories daily to promote his weight loss course. |
For several weeks, he documented his eating process on social media. His meals ranged from breakfasts with pastries and ice cream, to lunches featuring nearly one kg of dumplings smothered in mayonnaise and french fries, and dinners with pizza and hamburgers. In just one month, he gained almost 13 kg, reaching over 100 kg by mid-November.
The main purpose of the challenge was to promote Nuyanzin's upcoming weight loss course. The program promised a 100 USD reward for participants who lost at least 10% of their body weight before the new year.
On Instagram, the 30-year-old fitness coach wrote: "My weight loss course is about to begin, with many attractive rewards. I will lose weight with you, and that will be even more exciting."

However, Nuyanzin's body began to experience immense pressure from the high-calorie diet. He was often tired, stopped exercising, and planned to see a doctor. On 25/11, Nuyanzin went to sleep after dinner and never woke up. His death is suspected to be due to cardiac arrest from sudden weight gain and metabolic stress.
Nuyanzin's passing saddened friends, clients, and his follower community. He was described as a passionate coach, having trained at the Orenburg Olympic Reserve School and St. Petersburg National University of Fitness, with over 10 years of experience in the profession.
Experts warn that excessive eating and sudden weight changes can cause severe cardiovascular damage. Nuyanzin's case demonstrates that extreme fitness challenges, even with inspirational goals, still carry unpredictable risks.
