According to the memorandum of understanding, FPT Corporation will collaborate with the Administration of Sports on several key activities: the 2025 National Outstanding Athlete and Coach Awards, the 2026 "Glory of Vietnamese Sports" program, and the 80th anniversary of Vietnamese Sports (Vietnam Sports Festival 2026) featuring exhibitions, performances, fairs, and sports experiences.
In addition, the two sides will also cooperate on developing digital media campaigns such as the vRace virtual running series and sports features on the FPT Play television platform.
Speaking at the event, Vu Anh Tu, Chief Technology Officer of FPT Corporation, emphasized that sports represent willpower, discipline, and the desire to excel. These are also the core values that FPT has pursued during its nearly four decades of development. "With our strengths in technology and digital media, we hope to accompany the Administration of Sports - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in innovating the approach to and promotion of national sports activities to the public, especially the younger generation," he said.

Tu added that FPT will provide various digital platforms for sports, such as the vRace virtual running system, the AI Newsroom sports news platform, Smart Ads promotion, and advanced technologies like virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and volumetric video. These technologies, currently serving tens of millions of users globally, will be applied to digitize performance sports like martial arts, gymnastics, and dance sports.
Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet, Director of the Administration of Sports, highly appreciated FPT Corporation's capabilities and commitment to supporting the development of domestic sports.
"Technology and digital transformation play a crucial role in the national sports development strategy. We are developing a nationwide digital transformation project, and FPT is a partner with strong technological potential to implement it across various areas, from event organization and media to training," Viet stated.
The Director also expressed hope that this cooperation will expand and be sustainable, creating a foundation for the sports sector to access social resources, contributing to promoting the sports economy model in Vietnam – a trend many countries are pursuing.
