The stage followed a familiar pattern. After the start, an attack group formed, including two strong foreign riders: Dzianis and Christoph Janssen (Dong Thap). Dzianis easily won the first sprint. Later, the main peloton, led by yellow jersey holder Yarash, caught up. Red jersey holder Mugisha Moise and Sergei Kulikov (An Giang) then launched an attack. The combined effort of these three top foreign riders created a gap of nearly 4 minutes over the chasing peloton. In the second sprint, Kulikov finished first, Uladzislau second, and Moise third.
The three leading riders then slowed, allowing the trailing group to catch up. Attacks resumed, with Dzianis rejoining the lead group alongside Ilia Shchegolkov (Nhua Binh Minh), Pawel Szostka (Quan khu 7), and Dang Van Bao Anh (Vinh Long). Since this lead group posed no threat to the overall classifications, the peloton behind did not pursue. Consequently, at the finish line in Tay Ninh, Dzianis easily claimed victory. Ilia Shchegolkov and Szostka took the next two positions, respectively.

Born in 2000, Dzianis previously competed in Belarus and China. He excels in sprints and has won stages in UCI races, finished 7th overall in the Trans-Himalaya Cycling Race, top 23 overall in the Yellow River Estuary Race (China), and fourth in the Grand Prix Velo Erciyes. This victory marks his sixth time on the podium in this year's race. As a result, the Dong Nai rider has secured the green jersey as sprint king, with 251 points, far ahead of second-place Pawel (124 points).
The main peloton finished 2 minutes 10 seconds behind the winner, but the overall classifications remained unchanged. Yarash (New Group) holds the yellow jersey, Pham Le Xuan Loc (Quan khu 7) retains the orange jersey for the best Vietnamese rider. Tran Trong Phuc (Dong Nai) continues to wear the white jersey for the best young rider. Vinama maintained its lead in the team standings, with Ho Chi Minh City Police and Dong Nai in second and third, respectively. Vinama rider Moise successfully defended his red jersey as king of the mountains, a title he secured in stage 16.
