For the first time, Vietnam's largest night run has changed its bib and race kit distribution location, after three consecutive years at Nguyen Du Gymnasium. The new Expo is situated on Tran Bach Dang street, An Khanh ward, within the Thu Thiem new urban area.

According to the organizers, this change aligns with the city's general coordination plan. The area near Nguyen Du Gymnasium in Ben Thanh ward currently experiences a high density of events. Therefore, large-scale sports activities are being arranged in areas with more suitable infrastructure to ensure smooth operations.
The new space in Thu Thiem urban area offers a large footprint, allowing functional areas such as race-kit distribution booths, the stage, and sponsor experience zones to be arranged spaciously, avoiding overcrowding. "This area experiences less traffic pressure and has a lower population density. This facilitates more flexible organization of pre-race activities," said a representative of the organizing committee.

Runners can access the race Expo from multiple directions via Thu Thiem Tunnel, Ba Son Bridge, or Mai Chi Tho Avenue. The organizers have arranged ample parking space, allowing bib collectors to manage their transportation with ease.
The Expo location is less than 2 km from Sala urban area, a familiar training spot for the running community with wide routes. Runners can combine collecting their race kits with light runs to acclimatize or stretch before race day.
The VnExpress Marathon Ho Chi Minh City Midnight 2026 takes place on the night of 21/3, extending into the early morning of 22/3. In its fourth edition, the race has attracted a record 13,000 domestic and international runners. The course passes city landmarks such as Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Bach Dang Wharf, and Ba Son Bridge, allowing runners to explore the vibrant appearance and dynamic nightlife of the country's largest city.
