IAV Run virtual race kicks off second season

The IAV Run: Strong health - Firm belief 2025 takes place from 15/9 on the vRace platform, partnering with the Hope Foundation to raise funds for those in need.

Following the success of its first season, IAV Run 2025 is back. Organized by the Vietnam Insurance Association in collaboration with the online sports platform vRace, the event aims to promote a healthy lifestyle, especially among insurance professionals. With a participation fee of 25,000 VND, the race partners with the Hope Foundation, donating all proceeds to support those facing hardship.

In its second season, IAV Run has been designed with new challenges to maintain enthusiasm and encourage consistent training. Over the course of more than two and a half months, the race will be divided into two stages. The first stage features two challenges: "1,000 km" and "15 days of endurance," aimed at building a regular exercise habit. The second stage, "Breaking the limit," provides runners with the opportunity to increase their intensity with the challenges "200 km," "Iron Runner," and "Insurance for the community." All results will be automatically synchronized on vRace's leaderboard, allowing participants to track their progress, compare achievements, and stay motivated.

As a virtual race, IAV Run allows runners to choose their own location and training time, as long as the results are recorded through the vRace app. With a participation fee of 25,000 VND and an optional donation, runners can begin their journey. This flexibility makes the race accessible to everyone, from individuals to groups, in urban areas or remote regions. Outstanding individuals and teams will receive cash prizes and medals from the organizers.

The organizers hope the 2025 season will continue the momentum from the first season, not only contributing to improving the physical and mental health of participants but also building a connected and compassionate community of sports enthusiasts. "The challenges will promote endurance, perseverance, evoke the joy of conquest, and instill belief in the value of sharing," a representative of the organizing committee said.

vRace is a sports platform that enables the organization of running, walking, and cycling events entirely in a digital environment. Developed by FPT Online, the product aims to bring sports closer to the community and businesses, regardless of location, time, or organizational scale.

By mid-2025, vRace has reached 1 million registered users and 150,000 monthly active users. Over 40 million kilometers have been recorded, and more than 20,000 items (shirts, medals, certificates) have been sent to users across the country. The app has repeatedly held the top 1 position in Vietnam's App Store in the Health & Fitness category with over 40,000 reviews, averaging 4.7/5 stars.
